How module counts work. Each format includes a set number of modules — for example, 5 of 10 modules, selected with ALE to create a coherent program within the available training time. The count is not an open menu: more sessions cannot be compressed into a shorter format. The customized-workflow session (building an AI tool around participants' own work) is one of the modules and can be included like any other.
* Recommended duration — up to 7 hours per day.
** Recommended duration — up to 6 hours.
Decision guide

Which format should I choose?

  1. 2-hour keynote

Awareness-raising for large groups. Best when you need to reach hundreds at once and seed shared vocabulary across an institution.

  2. Half-day

Leadership / research office intro. A focused session for deans, research leadership, or grants office staff to align on AI strategy.

  3. 1 day

Practical overview with selected workflows. 3 modules, selected with ALE around your top priorities — a strong starting point for active teams.

  4. 2 days

Best entry point for hands-on institutional training. Five modules selected with ALE, real workshop time, participants leave with concrete deliverables.

  5. 3–4 days

Full Boot Camp with participant projects, peer work, and planning for how to apply what was learned. The most depth — and the highest follow-through.

Typical fit
Doctoral / graduate program

Usually 2 days for a cohort of 15–30 candidates, scheduled around the academic calendar.

Typical fit
Research office team

Half-day to 2 days for a small office team (5–20), weighted to pre- and post-award workflow.

Typical fit
Institution-wide researcher training

Keynote to open, then 2–4 day boot camps by department or discipline group.

Group size

Small teams → institution-wide cohorts.

The boot camp adapts for small teams, full research offices, graduate schools, or large audiences. Smaller groups allow more hands-on feedback; larger groups work best with structured exercises, breakout groups, and post-session resources.

Lighter formats

Not ready for a full boot camp?

Introductory webinars and focused sessions work as a first step before a full institutional program — leadership briefings, research-office kickoffs, or department-wide awareness.
